Wetsuit Rental this Summer

As part of our COVID-19 risk assessment we’ve identified the need to eliminate changing room usage as it has the potential to become a crowded indoor space. Therefore, students must arrive and leave in their wetsuit. Please note, students will be permitted to use a changing room if they become very cold, but otherwise use of changing rooms is not permitted.

To allow for students renting wetsuits to arrive on the first morning and leave on the final evening in a wetsuit we are opening at the weekend for collection and drop back.

We are not able to hand out wetsuit rentals on the first morning of the course, nor organise wetsuit rentals on the first morning or accept payment in cast. Pre-booking and payment must be completed online. If you have not already rented a wetsuit while making the booking, please do so using the link below.

Eash wetsuit is thouraghly disinfected between use and will be handed out clean. We will assume that they will need to be washed upon return.

The Saturday and Sunday before the course we’ll be open from 10am-5pm for collection of wetsuits. We understand this requires you to make extra trips to us, however, this is one accommodation that is needed to make the programme run while social distancing measures are in place.

Please come to our main clubhouse building, the first building on the bottom of the West Pier in Dun Laoghaire.

We’ll be open on Saturday after the course for wetsuit return from 10am-5pm. Again, this will take place from our West Pier clubhouse.

Should you have any questions relating to this, please contact our offices on 01 2844195 or by email to sailing@inss.ie.
